How booking, payment, cancellations and sessions work for one-to-one coaching, in plain English.

Coaching is provided by Neurodivergent Minds, 47 Bengal Street, Ancoats, Manchester, M4 6BB. Contact: info@neurodivergentminds.com. These terms apply to private coaching and Access to Work coaching. Our general terms cover the guides, packs and courses we sell.
Coaching is practical, one-to-one support with work, study and everyday life, for neurodivergent adults. Sessions last about an hour and take place on Microsoft Teams or face to face in Manchester.
Coaching is not therapy, counselling, medical, legal or financial advice or a crisis service. If you need urgent help, please see where to get help, contact your GP or call Samaritans on 116 123. Coaching is for people aged 18 and over.
If you have DSA-funded mentoring at university, please use that for your study support first: it's free to you. To keep things fair and clear, we don't offer private coaching to students we already support through DSA, or for the same support a student already receives through DSA.
To cancel or move a session, email info@neurodivergentminds.com.
If we have to cancel or move a session, we'll give you as much notice as we can and offer you another time or a full refund. You'll never pay for a session we cancel.
These terms don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
Online sessions use Microsoft Teams. We join from a private space, and sessions are never recorded by either side unless we both agree in writing. You're welcome to keep your camera off.
What you talk about in coaching is confidential. We don't share it with anyone, including an employer or family member, unless you ask us to. The exceptions are if we believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, if a child may be at risk or if the law requires us to share information. Wherever it's safe to, we'll talk to you first.
Our coach takes part in professional supervision, where work may be discussed without names or identifying details.
We keep brief notes of each session, your contact details and payment records, stored securely. We keep them for up to 6 years after our last session, so we can deal with any questions, complaints or insurance matters, then delete them. See our privacy policy.
We'll provide coaching with reasonable care and skill. Coaching supports you to make your own decisions: we can't guarantee particular outcomes, and decisions you make remain yours. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
If something isn't right, please tell us at info@neurodivergentminds.com. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to respond in full within 15 working days.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If we change them, the version on this page when you book applies to that booking.
