Questions about the books

Are the Little Minds Activity Books physical books?

Yes. English, Reading, Spelling and Maths are A4 full-colour paperbacks, printed and posted by Amazon. Times Tables is coming soon. The same pages are also sold as printable PDFs on this website, for families who would rather print at home.

What ages are the workbooks for?

Children aged 7 to 11. The pages practise topics children often meet in Key Stage 2 in England. They are practice workbooks, not a full curriculum or an assessment, and they suit older children who need to go back over something too.

Are they suitable for PDA and demand-avoidant children?

They were made with demand-avoidant children in mind. Every idea is explained before any practice, each page does one thing, there are no timers, tests or scores, and a gentle 1 to 3 level on every page lets your child choose what suits today. Pages can be done in any order. They work just as well for autistic, ADHD, dyslexic and anxious learners, and for any child who likes calm, clear pages.

Should I buy the paperback or the printable PDF?

Choose the printable PDF (£4.99, or £17.99 for all five) if you want it today, want to print pages more than once for brothers and sisters or a second try, or want the pink Blossom design. Choose the paperback (£7.99 on Amazon) if you would rather not print and like having a real book to write in.

What is the difference between Blocks and Blossom?

They are two designs with identical pages inside. Blocks has a pixel-block look with sky, grass and gems. Blossom has pink skies and flowers. The paperbacks are in Blocks. The printable PDFs come in either design, and your child can choose.

I have the paperback. Can I get the printable version too?

Yes. The last page of each paperback has a code for 40% off the printable PDFs on this website, so you can print extra copies or try the Blossom design.
